| Young Capital Mangement is a fee-based Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) that specializes in providing discretionary investment services and advice to individuals, professionals, business owners and retirees. YCM is also experienced in retirement and estate asset management for company and IRA accounts as well as living trusts. Compensation to the investment adisor is based upon a percentage of assets under management, NOT commissions. Fees are billed quarterly, in arrears and are usually one percent of assets under management on an annual basis. YCM's principal is R. Mitchell Young. Mr.Young was educated at Arizona State Universiy and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. Young has been successfully managing investment accounts for more than 20 years. He started as a stock broker at Wedbush Morgan Securities in 1982 and then in 1990 formed his own investment advisory firm,Young Capital Management. Mr. Young is also the designated broker for his own real estate brokerage company, Ironwood Realty, L.L.C. The underlying philosophy at YCM is to identify smart investment opportunities that meet the needs of its clients. In addition, YCM believes in educating its investors through quarterly newsletters, quarterly investment performance report cards and ongoing discussions about the merrits of various investments. While the primary investment vehicle remains individual equities, YCM will seek out alternative investments options such as real estate, insurance, annuity and debt instruments. YCM uses a various methods in researching its investments and believes in the importance of looking at all aspects including both technical and fundamental analysis. Futher, YCM believes that there are times when concentration in certain investments is warranted and that enahanced returns can only be achieved by taking added risk.
